.MAP to .BSP

Heya guys. I don't know how I change .MAP files to .BSP please tell me how to. They said I must download Valve Hammer Editor first. Yes I got it but I don't know what to do. Help me please. I just want to know how.

    You look like a beginner to me.
    So look at this tutorial.

    .map files don't automatically get converted to .bsp files. They go through a process known as compiling.
