Blue points
By Alus 10 months agoHello. In my map there are some blue points, I wanted to know how to avoid them or why they are where they are. In picture can't see them, I don't know why but one line there are.

Check in hammer if there is a small gap between the brushes.
It should probably come up ad a leak though.
If no then maybe the texture is like that.

Checked. No gaps there. But I "checked for problems" and there was "invalid solid texture" error, maybe I was too much manipulated vertexes and that's why there were these blue points. Going to check it.
That is de_dust textures and I think that's ain't textures problem.
Could it be problem of vertexes? Because these points are only where are edited "spike" or "cylinder", maybe I'm too much manipulated them.
Some of these problems appears when people play with clipping tool, vertex tool or hallowing.

Yeah, that could be, because I played with vertex tool.
So you tried to create some kind of cliff or mountain ground where you can stand on?. I supose you used null texture for non-visible faces right? That blue line you are seeing is the water that is behind the sand brush. You should re-do the sand structure or try to fix it as it is, linking the vertices that are appart from each other.
