Hello everybody! Here is my hopefully last map for GS called de_abducted. Aliens have got bored and captured two teams on board of their ship to set the battle. Terrorist are to bomb energy core. CT will try to stop them. We'll see who win!

    Pros:

    • NICE map!!
    • nice estructure
    • good looking

    Cons:

    • the boomb can be buged throwing it in a hole while you are planting :P

    • there are a lot of places for camp

    Cons:

    • El archivo de creditos esta es sound, no deberia de estar en la carpeta Maps con el nombre "de_abducted.txt"
    • No me funciono. Uso CS Xtreme V5

    I do not really care about polycount when mapping. It's more of the asthetic challenge for me. There are more than enough generic and faceless maps which have 500 polys average and proper gameplay. Why should I make another one? I would rather do something eyecandish if you will :)

    lynx2511 thanks for feedback. I'm not going to change this map - so there will be no further optimization as well. I do not really care about polycount when mapping.     well designed map, nice textures and effects, BUT unfortunately with 3130 wpoly count also unplayable at all. You should try optimize it, play around with hint texture, and so on. For now, I cant rate it, cause i dont want to give you bad ratings because of that. Great look simply isn't everything.

    hmmmm, in my oppinion, the best looking goldsource map ever, haven't seen anything better. The colours used look astonishing, and are supported by some amazing geometry.

    Just out of curiosity, did you compile with VHLT 2.5?

    I ask because those are the newest compiling tools, if you weren't using them they would make your lighting look even better.
